News of a potential approach to combating malaria spread by mosquitos by releasing hordes of GM mosquitos into the wild that are immune to the parasite carrying malaria. The article does note that it is nowhere near feasible yet to do this, but the idea raises a lot of interesting issues about this sort of approach. |
